De-Cat On Or Off The Manifold ??

im looking at getting a de-cat pipe and back box for the fezza so I e mailed a few companies for quotes and iv'e had the reply .....

An interchangeable de-cat pipe on the manifold will be £139.00 all inclusive as below

A de-cat pipe off the manifold will be £75.00 all inclusive

could anyone explain the difference between the two for me ?

    I'd imagine the interchangable one, has a section that can be removed to put the cat back in for it's MOT.

    yeah i was thinking that but then i thought why would that cost so much extra when all you need to do that is connectors on the pipes ?
