Brake Noises Normal?

Featured Replies

Hello guys,

My dad gave me his car and I not good with cars so I need help for 2012 Ford Fiesta with over 80K Mileage. When I brake, I hear squeaking noises and it irritates me hearing that. Does it sound good to replace the brake pads only? or I should also replace the rotors?

Thank you

It depends what condition the discs are in. If there's a lip on them then it can cause squeaking. If you're paying a garage then the cost of replacing the discs as well as the pads probably won't be much more in comparison to the labour.
