Hi Guys,

I ordered a set of the Aluminium Pedals from Ford for my Fiesta MK7.

How do they fit and how easy are they to fit?

Cheers

took me about 10 mins mate,

dead easy to fit. old ones pop off, new ones have rubber on the back where they wrap around the pedal holder, as if they 'hug' the holder.

Instructions are included, wont be a problem for you :)

DON'T use an abrasive metal polish on the pedals. It'll do no good at all on aluminium, the same is true for the sill plates.

Plus, I'm not entirely sure what the pedals are actually made of, they seem to me to be some kind of aluminium plating over something a hell of a lot cheaper - much like chromed plastics. Metal cleaner on that will strip off the 'plating' and leave you with a mess. Mine for example: I always brake with the side of my foot on the side of the pedal. After 16000 miles, the edge of the brake pedal nearest the accelerator has almost completely worn off. What's underneath is far less pretty

I clean mine with an all purpose cleaner and a brush, works a treat.

and if anyone is after a matching footrest - found some cheap sets of Mondeo pedals (Auto set inc footrest) on eBay for about £15 or £20.
