Ford Fiesta 2013 - can I fit a dishwasher in the boot??

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried fitting a dishwasher in the boot of a fiesta?  It would be second hand and so no packaging.

Thank you!

Yes, but you need to mount it on something soft or the plates will get chipped.

I have only put an under the counter freezer in a boot of my 2013 Fiesta, quite easily, however I could imagine that it might be a squeeze for a 'dishy'. Might be a good idea to measure the 'dishy' and the boot before you actually try to put it in, may save a lot of grief if it doesn't fit, and good luck🤞

I reckon it will go in with the back seats down. But you might need to remove back seat base to get the backs down flat. The seat base comes out if you pull it up hard. I have taken mine out a few times to get the seat backs down further to get more space in back for transporting stuff

It will go in

put a tumble dryer in mine

Thanks all, sounds like it might work.  Think I will try getting rid of the old one in it and see if that fits before buying the new one (not quite sure why that didn't occur to me beforehand!).

Cheers.  Will let you know how I get on.

I can fit my dishwasher in the boot of my Fiesta but she prefers to sit in the front seat 😂

Surly this is a wind up thread!! 😛

A Dishwasher ?? You guys need to up your game and move onto more modern methods.....

I raise you the magic sink.....works absolutely perfect everytime and so simple to use.

Step 1 .....leave dirty plates / crockery etc on side of sink sometimes it even works if you leave the dirty dishes on the worktop itself.

Step 2.... Go to bed.

Step 3.... get up in the morning but don't be too disappointed if the dirty dishes are still there, it's actually waiting to assess your daily movements so feel free to add yet more.

Step 4....Go to work

Step 5 ... Return from work and hey presto the magic sink has done its job. If you are lucky enough to be able to afford the "Vignale" version it will of dried them and put them away in the correct place ready for the next cycle .....👍

I laughed, my wife just sighed.

My magic sink works like that too. Unfortunately it seems to blow a fuse in the cooker and I end up with no dinner on the table when I get home from work 😁
