Fiesta 2018 Zetec - New alloys examples needed

Featured Replies

Hello my fellow Fiesta drivers.

I have the standard silver alloys thats came with the car, which do the job and have nothing wrong with them but I want some black 17' alloys with tyres and TPS.

My current tyre size is 195/60R15, I believe for the 17' It would be 205/45R17 for a 4 stud, PCD 4x108 centre bore 63.4 offset 45

Im after alloy pricing with the tyre and TPS to Manchester area if possible, no buget in mind currently, just need some ideas.

Thanks

🙂

got the gloss black traklites from puma speed with offset 35 and they are nice.. they are the same as the calibre suzuka's...ring them up and see what they say about tyres and fitment

Thanks.

Those traklites look perfect from puma, I'll take a look at the other links later.

How are the tyres in winter tho?

I see great reviews for wet and summer conditions but Winter they rate as everage, what do you reckon or because they are new you will find out?

I'll probably be going for Bola VST with Goodyears you have unless someone comes back with a better setup?

Why Bola, because the dealer has some in stock that are similar to the TL above, and the tyres seem robust and quiet.

So I got my new Bola VST 17' fitted, I got them from Wheelbase, thanks for the advice @OvEr_KiLL I got the same tyres as you.

They sound about the same volume when driving but the bumps i did notice a little more on the short 15 minute journey I took with them. I was thinking that an 18' would have been better but they did say 17' is better for this car.

I think the next thing I'll sort is the silver trim on the windows, either wrap them or see if it's possible to remove and swap for black. Any advice is appreciated from the forum on that front.

no worries bro, hope you like the tyres...they grip real nice 😄 what are the bolas 7.0 or 7.5? tyres 205 40 17? whats the stretch like on it as my wheels are 7.5

  • Author

The wheels are 7.5x17 4X108 ET40 72.6

Tyres 205/45/17 ZR

Im guessing the stretch is the 7.5?

I do like everything about them so far, but i've only driven with them for 15 mins so far lol. I was asking them about the 18' but they said 17' were perfect, are yours 18'? they look higher up the arch than mine @OvEr_KiLL

your et 40 and mine are 35 so mine will stick out away from the car slightly more and also i have it lowered on HR 35mm springs which is slightly lower than the zetec s stock 🙂 did you remember to fit the spigot rings too 😛  and yes the stretch is the 205 tyre on the 7.5 rim like mine, you see the slight gap on the rim

Yes the spigot rings got put on, I was looking at the gap today.

I had mine balanced and fitted by Weelbase as they are 15 min drive away from me.

And the lowering makes it look good, I'll stickwith mine as they are. I have a lot of speed bumps on my journey and lowering it will wreck my bumper for sure.

I had a couple of hours drive on them today and can feel and hear the difference with them, no rain yet though 🙂

Thanks for explaining the stretch
