Sync 3 and lost phone

Featured Replies

I paired my phone with sync in my Fiesta a while back.  I've now just lost my phone, but the system is still working in the car - I can still receive calls in the car on the sync system, and my texts etc are all there.  Is this normal, that it works independently of the phone itself?  I thought the phone needed to be in the car for me to be able to do that.  (I've obviously looked everywhere in the car that I can reach, I just want to check I'm not going crazy!)

It’s not independent it means the phone is in range of the car. Sounds like it’s not lost!

If it works when you go for a drive it’s in the car.

Thanks. Turns out it was actually in the car after all.  Duh!  Just in the one place I didn't think to look.... 😉

Absolute quality!

You must have been chuffed, I'd hate to lose my phone!!!
