Hi guys, I'm new here and was wondering if I could get some help please as I'm really confused 😅 the mats that came with my car don't fit in both of the fixings on the floor as shown in the picture. So I'm confused as to what shape will fit my 2017 Fiesta as it's not the most recent model? Thank you so much in advance!

The early MK7 fiestas had a different fitment to the later ones. The later fitment also carried through to the MK7.5 if I remember correctly. 

You definitely don’t have the correct mats for your car as the correct mats fit the footwell area much better than what you have. 

Loads of options on eBay, but Ford OEM are reasonably priced and you are guaranteed a good fit too.

The popper type fixing I've got the same on my car need quite a bit of pressure to attach the fixing. Try lining it up and Push firmly untill it clicks.

It looks to be the correct fitting the other fitting you speak of is an ovel fitting that twists to lock in to place.

What you have now looks correct it just needs lining up and pushing the clip in. it does take quite a bit of pressure for it to clip in.

Left pic is a mk 7.5 (looks like what you got now)

right is possibly a mk 8 mat 

looks like you have the right mats in your picture above. align up the round things on the floor. if they arnt right then unscrew them and screw them back in position and clip the mat on top of them (push it down quite hard or stand on it)

The left mat is for a mk 7.5, correct for the blue car you have pictured

It's same shape as mine, also a mk 7.5

The clips should be round and just need popping on, like a press-stud.

I got my mats from CarMats.co.uk who supplied the mats correct for my model car and fit snug as a bug in a rug, including boot mat.
