Water leaking through drivers foot well? Fiesta Mk6.5

Featured Replies

Anybody know what this hole is for in the drivers foot well and why water is leaking from it?

I removed the black plug for the purposes of the photo, not that it was stopping water from getting through when fitted.

A common problem they leak thru the pollen filter. Check this unit is fitted correctly.

Whatever it was for, it isn't used on your car...  Buy another bung or glue/seal that one back in.

Check that tree leaves etc are not blocking up drainage between the windscreen and the bonnet, especially at the far ends. Although not on a Fiesta, this has been the cause for the same thing with a previous car.
