Hello all, 

Just after a bit of help with this problem I'm having. A fault code showed up for the "Fuel temperature sensor" however upon further research and a call to my local garage apparently there isn't a part out there with that name. The closest thing thats coming up is a fuel pressure sensor and to me that does sound the same however I just wanted to check whether it was before I go making any purchases. I have attached a photo with the code for those who would like to check. Also where would this part be inside the engine bay? Thank you all!

Pressure and temperature are two different things.

I take it this is a 1.4 TDCI?  Fuel temp sensor is on the solid plastic fuel piping near the hand pump.

It sure is. I just rang Hartwells which is our local Ford specialist and they say that the temp sensor is on the fuel pump itself. I removed the item you said and have posted a photo below. If you wouldn't mind confirming whether I have the right part that would be appreciated 

 

This came from the location you suggested: It has numbers on too which are "96356 92580" with a logo that says ELTH. I hope this narrows it down.

Yes, that's the fuel temp sensor.

Beautiful thank you very much. Hartwells clearly have no idea what they're talking about. So much for being a Ford specialist eh.
