ford Mondeo 2010 tachometer/RPM not working properly

Hi all , 

my car tachometer/RPM is not working properly , when I start the car the strip should be on 1 but its on zero , its working only when I drive 

so just thinking , i have to change whole thing ?

@unofix its didn't work , its just from self maintenance 

the speedometer strip go all the way up , but tachometer strip only till half way only 

i think something wrong with strip
