Hi guys I've got a mk7 zetec on a 58 I'm looking for some ideas to make the car feel a bit more modern. Any ideas on upgrades or accessories I could do. I've some little ideas like taking the cigarette lighter out and replacing it with a dual USB and usb c adapter. But wondering if anyone has done things to there's.

    Quite seriously, the best way to make it feel more modern are : clean the door and window seals which reduces wind noise, get the Aircon cleaned and recharged which makes it fresh, fit new standard dampers all round and if it has had a hard life, the engine and gearbox mountings.

    This makes the car feel livelier and more comfortable without spending too much or on tat that doesn't have the desired effect.

    You might also consider new headlight bulbs. They age and replacement makes the car feel better at night.
