I don't know what this "battery icon" on my display. When I bought the vehicle 4+ years ago it was "full" and has slowly gone down and recently over the summer it became empty. I had recently replaced my car battery with no effect. I've looked in the manual and it isn't recognized or even mentioned there,  I've asked at the Ford dealership each time I go in what the symbol stands for and no one knows. Is this something I should be concerned about it being drained?

Thanks in advance for any advice and assistance.

    I'm going to take a guess and say the little bar graph to the left is the signal strength of your mobile phone and the picture of the battery is the state of charge of your mobile phones battery - well at least it is on my car !!

    Not likely, but if my phone isn't synced with the car is it going to display as an empty battery icon?

    That is 100% a phone battery indicator.

    Ok, all I can say is that on everyone elses car that is the battery indicator for a mobile phone. Maybe you have a special one of a kind dashboard ?
