One reason I went for the X rather than st line was Ford Navigation. Looks like you’ll have to use google or Apple maps. Not so bad. 

You can enable climate control on the sync screen with forscan but it's probably best left disabled as there is an issue on most uk focus cars with dual zone climate control. The driver and passenger side controls on screen are usually the wrong way round and there doesn't seem to be any way to fix this.

You could just enable climate repeater mode which shows the temperature and blower dials on the screen as you adjust it from the dials below.  I haven't bothered but I suppose it saves you looking down at the dials as you adjust them.

I enabled climate on my MK4, no issues

Yes they used to be. It seems that problem has now been fixed or at least for the Mk4 it has. Mine is OK.
