Help with phone calls via bluetooth please

Featured Replies

Hi,

Just got a 2011 Fiesta Zetec with bluetooth.  I can connect my phone and make calls and I can hear them through the car but they can't hear me, they just hear a crackling and gurgling sound.  I can't seem to find the answer how to solve the issue.  Have checked on the Ford website but there's no update as it's not a Sync.  Can someone help solve this issue please?

Thinking logically You can connect, call and receive calls and hear what is said so most of the system is working. The bit that turns your voice into  a radio signal is scrambled somewhere. If the system uses a microphone in the car, try another microphone.

Not sure it's a mic problem as the voice command works ok

Ok then the problem is in the transmitted signal so I'd try another Bluetooth module.

I have the same issue. Did you find a solution?
