Hi all, I received a new set of winter tyres / wheels + TPMS valves and fitted them over the weekend. One of the originals is in my boot as the spare.

However I’ve now got a TPMS malfunction on the dash. 

I’ve followed instructions online for getting the MK8 into training mode which it does, and horn pips. But using the training device 8C2T-1A203-AB off Amazon. I’m not having any joy. It times out before it detects the modules. I’ve tried pointing the device and pressing button at every angle possible next to the stem.  

Is this the right TPMS for the mk8?

    Once you put car into training mode, try getting the original wheel in spare to get recognised? That should confirm if the tool works or not. Could be the wrong tpms valves on your winter wheels.

    @iantt I’ve just tried pairing with the tool and the original Ford wheel I'm using as the spare and it pairs just fine. I’ll give the company a call it must be the wrong sensors....
