TPMS Hell

Featured Replies

Got a flat on my Mark 7 (2017) and destroyed the TPMS sensor on the front offside tyre. Managed to get a sensor reset tool that worked after a few returns ( VXDAS TPMS Reset Sensor Tool, TPMS Relearn Programming Training Tool Tire Pressure Monitor Sensor Reset Transmitter TPMS19 2020 Edition from amazon if anyone is interested).

I've searched the forum and got some good hits on getting the new sensor in ( thanks IANTT ) now hitting a block on which sensor to buy as finding some horror stories about choosing the incorrect ones ( Don't Pick n Mix Mk5 Ford Mondeo TPMS Sensors - YouTube) I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck with aftermarket sensors like the SCHRADER 3023 or  any other identifying numbers/ shapes I can narrow my search down with?

thanks in advance

I've seen a few on there they match the F2GT-1A150-CB / F2GT-1A180-CC codes and running 433mhz but nothing else.

Is this enough for it to work?

thanks again.

Yep. The only info you need is that it has the triangle symbol on the back of sensor. That's the latest sensors ford tend to use now. Earlier ones had square symbol
