MK6 Fiesta zetec dash change

Featured Replies

Hello! I have a 2005 Fiesta Zetec, prefacelift, and I want to put in the gauge cluster from the facelift. Is it plug and play? Will the gauges work normal if I just plug it in, or do I need to do anything else?

No it's not plug and play.

The instrument cluster is included with the PATS security system. If you just change it then your car won't start. Also you have to make sure that the replacment IC has less mileage than your car.

You will need a laptop and FORScan software with the full licence (£10). To connect to your OBDII port you will also need a good quality ELM327 lead

Download from here:    https://forscan.org/download.html

Get an ELM327 modified lead, something like this:   https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/234262444169?hash=item368b213889:g:Zg4AAOSwa9BhfMMF

You will need to reprogramme the IC in to the PATS security system, and also use FORScan to adjust the mileage on the replacment IC upwards to match your true reading
