Fiesta 1.0 Ecoboost 2016 Cabin/Pollen Filter

Featured Replies

Hi, been trying to locate the cabin filter on this car and struggling to find it, any suggestions to its whereabouts greatfully received.

Cheers

Hi There,

Try drivers footwell centre console side, You have to remove plastic cover from console side one plastic screw and slide to remove trim.

Then you access to cover plate for pollen filter Try this link  https://youtu.be/ygCYuJL7TzY

Hi, thanks for the link, unfortunately despite removing both console side panels and the glove box I still can’t locate it. The problem could be this particular Fiesta is manufactured in Indonesia and the air conditioning system is quite different from all those on youtube clips. I may have to butter up the local Ford dealer down here in NZ.

Cheers anyway, when I eventually find out if there is one fitted and it’s location, I will post.

You never said you were in New Zealand. The cars upside down !  no wonder you can't find it 🤣

Just be aware, there are two types of cabin filters(as I found out) purchased one from a major Ford dealer in Melbourne,it was the wrong one,but I was not aware there were two types of pollen filters. They did send the correct one, just mine did not have that particular one for some reason, mine comes in two filters, one on top of the other. My fault I should have pulled it out before purchasing.I had no problem purchasing the correct one once I knew.My one is the bottom filter, which by coincidence it is the same as the Mazda2.
