Need help on my mk6 Ford Fiesta zetec s 57 plate , I got a really weird idle problem , when I start it and warms up the idle bounces up and down and seems like it wants too stall then revs back up again too contribute with the stall also there’s hell of a tapping sound coming from under the Bonnet , If anyone knows anything please let me know as I’ve changed Seals , sensors and the pcv pipe and stilk not going away , much thanks Sam

    Is the fuel filter clean? If the garage do your services, are you sure they definitely did it when it was due? 

    Is it a petrol engine - Lambda & coil packs 

    Any air leaks around the manifold and MAF?

    Dirty throttle body 🤷‍♂️ 

    Lots of different reasons, could be the lambda sensor. Might be worth trying a carb cleaner?

    Fuel filter was the first thing I changed when I noticed it so that’s brand new , it’s had a new coil-pack leads and spark plugs 

    I’ve cleaned the throttle body and it’s had a new maf sensor Aswell while I was doing that , lambda sensor at the top of the engine? Is that the one your on about? If it was that I would have an engine light but no lights are on
