Top info display within dashboard

Featured Replies

My mum has a 2014 fiesta and the other day the info panel in the top middle of the dash board display has stopped working.
It’s the display that shows the temp gauge and the mpg/mileage values.

It does not come on at all. I connected the laptop with forscan on, and it showed no DTC or faults.

Is there any pointers I should be looking at, fuses and wiring??

cheers

My guess is the LCD panel has failed. If you take the cluster out, then you can either send it away or take it to a local auto electrician to sort it out (unless you're handy at soldering, of course).

As Luke has said the LCD panel has most probably failed. Its not a common problem on cars as young as 2014, but on older models it often happens.

There are companies advertising a repair/refurbishment service on eBay. Expect to pay between £50 and £70.

Cheers, I’ll look into removing the panel. Is it a easy job to remove?
