Fiesta MK6 Noise/vibration

Featured Replies

I’ve got a 2008 Zetec S TDCI. It’s got a new MOT last week and also had wheels balanced and alignment done.

every so often, more so when turning I get a rumble/growl type of noise? Definitely coming from the front and at around 3k rpms I get a steering wheel shudder

It’s not so bad that it feels dangerous it’s just very annoying, any recommendations what I should look at?

This was the first thing I thought of and I’m yet to lift the car and check, but it just passed its MOT I would of thought if any play they would of picked up on it?

ill have a look tomorrow and see if there is any noise, thanks

Ah bless you sir, that was only valid for 60 seconds after the paperwork was done.

Wheel bearings often fail and show little or no moment when the wheel is checked.

Just order a set from euro, just done the rears last week so makes sense just to do fronts too. It does sound like a wheel bearing rumble so hopefully sorts the problem

thanks
