Emgine Management Light Problem

Featured Replies

2002 Mk5 Fiesta Ghia 1.25 only done 26k miles. Fully dealer maintained. Just reached it's 8th birthday.

Engine Management Warning light came on - straight to the Main Dealer. Problem diagnosed as the coil - replaced coil & plugs.

25 mile on, warning light returned. diagnosed air intake sensor - replaced.

75 miles later, warning light returned. diagnosed failed hega sensor. replaced - made no difference.

Diagnosed wiring fault - checked all wiring, no problem.

Diagnosed PCM/ECU faulty - must be replaced. I sent it away to be tested, returned not as not faulty.

The main dealer now has no idea where to go next - ANYONE WITH ANY IDEAS PLEASE?

without the codes its hard to say what the problem could be, but i would not be happy with the dealer and the lets try this attitude.
