Ford Ka boot lock blowing fuse

I have a 2014 Ford Ka, the central locking fuse blows when pressing the boot unlock button on the remote and on the boot itself

changed the lock same thing is still happening. The doors unlock fine it is only the boot that blows the fuse. 
 

many ideas as to the problem please

    Did you replace the boot lock solenoid or the boot lock handle/button ?

    You need to get a multimeter and start looking for a short-circuit.

    Thanks, it was the boot lock solenoid that I replaced.

    Start by checking the cable as it goes between the boot lid and the body of the car. The constant opening and closing can cause wires to get damaged.
