Can anyone help? I added a litre of pat fluid as my eml was on and had major power loss.. nothing changed except for engine malfunction light bleeps and diagnostic says fuel addative mil activation required.. what's that about? Do I need to reset something?

    You need to reset the additive level and prime the additive system if it had completely run dry.

    Yes it was completely dry.. how do I reset it? Rac tried on his diagnostic and cldnt do it.. also prime addative tank how that dine please?

    It's easy to do with Forscan but you may need the laptop version with a wired adapter.  Not sure if it'll work on the phone app.

    Priming is also a Forscan service procedure.

    I've only used the laptop version of Forscan.

    There is a mobile app but I don't know if it'll be compatible with your OBD connector.  And I don't know if it can carry out these service procedures, I know it doesn't allow programming over wifi.  You're welcome to try it though, it costs about £6 I think.
