Engine malfunction message

Any help would be appreciated 

I have a galaxy titanium on a 62 plate showing an engine malfunction message. There is no engine warning light lit. Once I press OK on the steering wheel the message goes away.

The car is driving normally and seems to have no problems. I have noticed that the auto start/stop is constantly off and the light is lit on the button, this can not be altered.
