Has anyone installed the TRC splitter on the MK3 ZT? If so do I need to remove the plastic shields to to install the nuts and bolts and once the splitter is on will it be easy enough to put the shields back or will it require modification? It will probs make more sense when I look at it but just asking for piece of mind. The box is massive and is sitting in my hall ready to go this weekend if the weather permits it.

Ok so what needs to be removed is the splash guard and the strip.

Then I secured the splitter with clamps just under £7 from Screwfix.

You drill the 4 holes each side and one big one in the middle then add the supplied bolt and nuts it's very simple the longest part was trying to get that splash shield back on a total PITA.

I swear I need to get a better pic it makes it look more rounded at the front so much better.

One thing I will say about this splitter. I am not even lowered and due to how low the splitter goes with the big bit in the middle you have to watch when parking towards kerbs or when a road dips very low as I have had some very close calls.
