Experiences for Mk3 Android head units

Featured Replies

Hello.

I have been thinking to upgrade for Tesla style android head unit like in the link, anyone has any experience?

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001709122096.html

I was thinking S7 4/32GB version, I don't need very much space, navigator and Spotify, and I will have separate amplifier for future so I think TDA7851 will be so big benefit.

One thing which wonders me it the car clock after head unit change, because I live in Finland, and the fuel fired heater programming is very important. Seller says that will get the clock at head unit, via CANBUS, anyone have any experience of that?  And is there any other option to set the clock than the original head unit (car is 2012 1,6TDCi, with driver assistant pack).

Any experience would be nice.

Best Regards

Mika
