Focus mk2 2005 Problem with central locking after GEM replacement

Featured Replies

I replaced the gem with a newer version to add cruise control. I had the GEM 4M5T 14073 AC and put the 4M5T 14P73 DF. while everything works and I successfully activated the cruise control the central lock does not work. What problem might there be?

Probably needs reconfiguring to you car.

You say central locking doesn't work, do you mean not working at all or just off the remote fob?

If just from remote, that's because you need to re-programme the remotes to your new GEM (RFA module)

I admire the format of your post, I wouldn't even know how to do that! LOL
