jason56d
Hi all, having my replacement wheels fitted today at Hartwell Watford. They have called me to say both fronts are near legal limit, which I knew from recent MOT. They have said the drivers side is starting to show ‘cord’ so needs replacing now, so going to replace the front pair. Wanted to charge me nearly £127 each wheel to replace with a Nexen tyre. I told them not to and put the old ones on and I will get changed at my local tyre place. Does anyone have recommendation for tyres? Or should I just stick with Continentals that I believe are on there? Local can get these: Pirelli Powergy for £111 Goodyear Eagle F1 Astmmetric 2 £119 Bridgestone Turanza T005 £121 Continental Contisport contact 3 £126 Hankook Ventus S1 Evo 3 £128 Anyone offer advice? jason56d
Picked my car up with new wheels. They actually look lovely! And existing tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 4’s, so will stick with them. Just hunting down prices for new now. Best I can get for a pair is £265.
