Mk4 2.0l Ecoblue ST-line X Automatic issue

Featured Replies

Hi all

hoping someone has experienced the same issue I am facing, I have had my car for a few months now and when in Park the engine idles roughly causing a vibration through the cabin, its really annoying! a gently pressing and holding the accelerator stops it, seems worse when the engine is warm, AC on or off doesn't affect it, when in Drive and stationary i can still feel the vibration but less severe.

the fuel economy seems really poor at 39mpg on average and I also feel the gearbox is a little unsure of its self at certain times,

has anyone else had any issues like this?

I've heard stories of injector faults on these, known issue but not dealt with at service unless customer complained of issue.

Check ETIS to see if you have an FSA on the issue as you are probably out of warranty now, if you're not out of warranty get it booked in
