2012 MK3 focus TDCI, replaced battery has now thrown P1264 code for injector 4

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Changed the battery at the weekend, it's a pain had to remove air box to get it in. Ran fine after but Mrs went out the next day and it's gone into limp mode throwing the p1264 code for injector 4.

An amazing coincidence to have a second fault in two days or have I whalloped the loom or knocked a plug trying to get the battery in or when putting back the air box?

Has anyone else had this issue?

Going to take the air box back out again when I get a chance and inspect the loom.

Thanks,

They can forget their settings when you disconnect power, probably need to relearn injector values.

Either get Ford to do it or buy a decent OBD lead, download Forscan and do it yourself

There are topics on Forscan forum of how to reset injector learned values
