Some wisecracks say it’s an acronym for ‘something posing as meat’ but the official line is that no one knows what it means. Even Spam. Which is mad.

    it was one of the 4 for a quid spice things they advertise on the telly. 3 pots into the slow cooker with a beef joint for 3 hours then add some frozen stir fry veggies.  It's a 3 litre slow cooker so plenty to freeze.
