had an issue with the car which trough up a couple of codes some cleared some haven’t this B2477 code will not clear,,, anyone have an idea why n what I could do. It’s something to do with module configuration failure ?? What ever that means 🤣

U1900 codes may give a clue.

Usually a can bus communication error and in a Focus mk 2 or 2.5 can be due to the failure of the lead free solder joints in the instrument cluster, try whacking the dash above the speedo/tacho and see if anything reacts.

if not that, is the fuse box behind the glovebox dry and the plugs secure.

can bus errors throw up various ghost errors in other modules.

That's a config issue not a comms issue

Thought the u1900 in the pic was can bus comms issue.

Probably caused by the config problem B2477
