I'm after finding a good Focus RS, for my daughters other half.

Any thoughts or tips on the RS (2016/2017) would be very welcome. He would prefer the 'blue' colour and it must have heated seats, other than that he's quite open to suggestions.

They suffered head gasket issues didn't they before 2017, even then I believe some 2017 cars were affected, I don't know details so worth checking on that.

You allow your daughter to go out with a blatant boy racer?? She's lucky to have such a relaxed dad 😅

They all got recalled. Ford had mistakenly fit the standard head gasket instead of the uprated one.

I am sure it was mustang 2.3 parts they fitted by mistake 😂

What are the gearboxes like ?

Afaik it is the same 6MTT450 fitted to the ST.

It has a design rating of 450Nm, but there will be a safety factor built in to that and Ford may have used a version with one or more improved internals, but I can't find any info on that.
