What is my car!?

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I've got a 2013 Mondeo, 2.0 diesel.

Whenever it has a problem and I search for an answer, I can never find any useful results. Some sites call it a mk3, some call it a mk4, and the advice never fits my car.

I recently bought a Haynes manual covering petrol and diesel Mondeos from 2007 - 2014. It said the fuel filter for the 2.0l diesel is under the car by the fuel tank. After much time spent under there wondering if I should have gone to Specsavers, I found it next to the engine, in the engine bay!

So none of this makes any sense, anyone know what car this is please?

You have what most people would refer to as a MK4.5 or MK4 facelift.

Haynes manual can't always get everything right, that might be right on an early MK4.

Video Here. Good channel to find stuff for the MK4/4.5
