Hi . Can anyone give me advice . I've noticed now it's getting warmer my glow plug light doesn't come on . Is this normal ?

    I've noticed the exact same thing with my central heating. I do hope we will both be OK when it gets cold again. 🤔

    Perfectly normal.  The light doesn't actually indicate that the plugs are heating on modern cars.  It's purely timed, based on how cold the engine & ambient air temp are.

    Says 1.5 diesel in the title. :wink:  Possibly upgraded, or in addition to, the petrol in their profile.

    If the glowplug light is not on it does not mean the glow plugs are not on. It means the cylinders are warm enough for you to try starting the car. Glowplug light on just means don’t try starting it yet until the light goes out.   Light going out does not coincide the glowplug turning off, the glowplugs stay on longer
