Focus Mk2 Ambient lighting fitment

Featured Replies

Trying to find the fitment that goes behind the heated window / heated seat switches on the centre console, be much appreciated if anyone could shed some light on either part number or even a photo of the said piece, have included a photo of the area in question.

Kind regards

Is that not the location for the passenger air bag deactivation keyswitch?

That is the position of the temperature sensor assembly for the electronic climate control system. The sensor assembly has an integrated fan that pulls air from the cabin through the grid of the dasboard panel onto the temperature sensor.

Definitely nothing to do with ambient lighting.

That does make sense, as both the Titanium and the ST have that system, I just always thought with the holes been larger in the switch assembly that it was for lower ambient lighting, thank you for that, much appreciated.
