Receiving calls and text alert sounds

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I've accidentally changes a setting and I can't seem to get it fixed. What I've done is, I've paired my Samsung S20 phone with my Ford Focus, no problem at all, when I turn on the ignition it let me know on the Sync 3 screen at the top that my phone has connected successfully. I used to get a text alert even recieve calls and answer them hands free, now my text alerts don't happen and my calls are silent, the caller gets a message that I'm driving. Android Auto works no problem, the pairing with my phone works ok and the setting on the Sync 3 has the Ringtone as my own. Can anyone suggest what I'd need to change to get the calls and text message alerts coming through please ?

Thanks.

Hi, yes I've checked the settings and still can't get anything from it.

Sounds like your phone may have enabled 'driving mode' somehow. This https://support.google.com/assistant/thread/125675799/android-driving-mode-won-t-turn-off?hl=en might help

Hiya, thanks. As it turns out, it was the Amazon Echo app in Auto Mode Settings, which I've now disabled.

Thanks again !!
