Frayed Seat Belt Webbing

Featured Replies

On one of my cars, the seat belt webbing has frayed significantly in two places, and it clearly needs replacing.

Ford no longer supply the item, so I have a few options.....

A well known auction site....

Visit a scrappy with suitable tools....

or remove unit from my car and get it re-webbed.

I have found a number of companies on the web that offer rewebbing (some offering a multitude of colours!), my preferred solution, but have any members used such a service, preferably in the South ?

Scrappers either local or online would be your best bet. As an MOT failure for exessive fraying.

Now had my seat belt rewebbed using Quickfit Safety Belt Service.

They are in High Wycombe, and did a "While you Wait" service, which meant I dropped of the belt late morning, wife and I went to Hughenden National Trust, then picked up the rewebbed belt late afternoon.

Cost less than some units on a well known auction site, and very good service.
