My wife's 2010 CC has developed a problem with the driver's side window. It regularly won't go up or down, or loses the one touch function. Other times it will work perfectly well for days!

The driver's door has buttons for all windows, and as well as one touch it has the global open function.

Sometimes when it won't operate I hear a click in the door (when I operate the switch), sometimes nothing.

I know the Mk1 had a one touch relay in the door that could cause problems, does the MK2 have the same? If not what's the equivalent module?

As it's intermittent I don't think it's a motor problem, but more likely a dodgy connection/contact hence me thinking it's the relay (if it has one).

Replying to my own topic, but scanning through the schematics (great resource btw) it looks like it has a door control module rather than a relay. Is this likely to be the issue? I can pick one up reasonably cheaply on eBay so might be worth changing as a matter of course.

Yes the door control modules can fail.

You need the exact same unit as the firmware can be different, for example the Mondeo uses the same door module as some Jaguar's but they are not interchangeable.
