MAP or T-MAP or MAF...,

Which does this engine have..?

Where is it located ...?

Can I simply clean it with brake\clutch cleaner..?

Is there a multimeter way of testing it..?

Map sensor.  Located front, bottom right of the inlet manifold.  (Follow the right end inlet branch down)

They can be tested with a multimeter but I don't have specific values.  They can be cleaned carefully with a little solvent.

Ok, it does not have a MAF sensor as I do not see one on the pipe between the air intake box and the new..ish shiny throttle body.. correct..?

Yes, carb cleaner would be preferable but brake should also be fine.
