Fuel Filters

Featured Replies

I have a Transit Connect 67 plate 1.5L T210.

I've not long purchased the van and I'm due to service it soon.

What type of filter do I need to purchase for that model? heated or non heated???

I've asked a few mechanics even Fords Bristol Street motors spares department and they all give me conflicting answers.

I don't want take the old filter out and measure it, I want to get the right filter and fit it 1st time.

Any help would be great thanks

Have a look on CATCAR - type in your VIN, and get the finis code, and then do a search using that number and hopefully you will find one.

My VIN doesn't exist according to that website.

I know this isn't helpful, but I expect both filters will be listed for your vehicle and you'll still be none the wiser.

Either buy both and return the wrong one (in pristine condition of course) or have a proper look at your current one.  No experience with a modern Transit but the fuel filters always used to be at the top of the bulkhead and pretty easy to access anyway?

Chris,

Did you drill down the models and variants ?

I found two different possible types by doing so, the diagrams might help you to identify the one for you.

There is also zapcar (!)
