My 1968 Ford Escort Kent crossflow engine has 681F 6015 C-A stamped on the block which tells me , I think, that it is 1300cc. However, there is a small plate attached to the bulkhead that says: 89 I M 6015 BA. (See photo). According to receipts the engine was reconditioned by the previous owner, but the bulkhead plate number is a mystery. Can anyone tell me what it means?
