2020 Focus Estate - Driver side reversing light

I've just discovered that my driver's side reversing light (LED's?) isn't working. Everything else is.

It appears that you get access by simply pulling off the rear access cover (Easy) and undoing the two plastic bolts - except it feels like they've been tightened by a gorilla.

Before I go breaking things, do I "just" undo these two bolts to remove the light cluster?

Is it normal for the whole LED strip to die or should I be looking for a wiring fault? 

The car is still under Ford direct warranty but blubs and lights aren't covered - I've looked. Wiring on the other hand is a different story.

    There is no drivers side reverse light on a Mk4 Focus.

    They have one reverse light (white LED) on the passenger side, AND they have one rear fog light (red LED) on the drivers side.

    Both sides have clear/white lenses fitted to the light cluster to make them look the same.

    Oh great! Something else not to like about the car.
