SYNC 3 UPDATE ERROR

Featured Replies

HI, I know this is a common problem with lots of different answers, just wanted to get the latest option.

I have a 68 plate Focus Titanium 1.5 Auto. Have kept the sync updated through the ford update site, not had to many problems until now, it shows a map update which have tried to install many times in the last few weeks, keep getting install failed PKG_ERR04 or now MEM_ERR01       . Have looked & people say use the CYAN LABS method, is this the best way forward or to wait for the next map update & hope that it will get past this error problem.

Version 3.4 Build 21194 is what I currently have.. (have also done a master reset which made no difference)

Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to proceed with the Cyan Labs & mess it up totally... Thnx for any help...

I have a 2016 focus ST which I upgraded some time ago from SYNC2 to SYNC3 and have always used CyanLabs for my upgrades. Today I upgraded from:

Version: 3.4.21265, Region: EU, Navigation Maps Version: F10

to:

Version: 3.4.22110, Region: EU, Navigation Maps Version: F11
