Where can I get hold of Focus MK2.5 (2009) tailgate chrome trim bolts?

Featured Replies

The chrome trim on my Focus Titianium broke off / someone broke it off. I've sourced a replacement but some of the original bolts have seen better days and I want to replce them. But, I can't find them anywhere. They seem to be sort of mini carridge t-bolts but with a round bit on the top...

If anyone knows where I can get hold of some I'd be very greatful.

Ford?

Sadly looking at parts diagrams the fixing studs for the boot lid finisher aren’t listed as separate parts so you’d struggle getting them from Ford.

May have better luck if you can pick up a tatty finisher on eBay etc and swap the fixings over to yours. Or just stick with your current ones

Try contacting these people, they may have something very similar:

Thanks guys. I'll check out that link. I've been down the ebay route but all of the 2nd hand parts don't come with the bolts. In fact most of them come with the plastic clips already broken off it seems. So not really a replacement part!
