2012 Focus - ABS, EPS Warning Lights and Notification Hill Start Assist and Lane Assist Not avalaible

Featured Replies

Driving from a short distance on the M5 yesturday and after about half an hour driving the above warning lights and messaging showed up. After about 5 mins the warning lights went off. Then today I was making the return journey of about 1hr and the lights and warning messages came on as soon as I started driving and did not go out. It was 33c on the car temperature reading for outside temp so I am not sure if this had a factor.

After returning home I needed to make a short journey and none of the above lights cam on again what could be the issues..

Thanks

The State Of Charge (SOC) of your battery is very low. The battery capacity is at around 70%.

Using a good smart battery charger, put the battery on charge for at least 12 hours. Make sure that you connect the battery charger positive directly to the battery terminal, and very important connect the negative lead of the charge directly to the main chassis earth point. Do NOT connect it to the battery negative terminal.

If after a full 12 hour charge you are still getting the problems then your battery is probably at the end of it's life.

I had a new battery fitted about 1 year ago?

Just checked the engine collant level and it is very very low, could this be linked? Temp warning light did not come on when I was driving.

no.

Still probably a good idea to put some coolant in.

I have the same issue with my SMAX 2017, took it for diagnostic at local ford dealership, came up with quite a few code errors such as wheel sensor, steering wheel position sensor. However none of them are live. But it came back again coming back from the dealership.
