I bought a second hand 08 Mondeo 2.2 TXS after 3 hours the turbo s**t itself and the engine overran 😞. 

 

I caught it pretty quick and slowed it down as I was moving. The turbo has been re conditioned and refit.

 

It was still running lumpy so I had the injectors tested 2 where found to be faulty so I replaced them, coded them to the car and still it is running lumpy.

 

If anyone has any other ideas or help I would be very great full as I'm out of ideas and running out of money.

    Best bet is to get Forscan on it to check for any codes before throwing more money at it.

    There is a small chance that the compression could be down since the runaway.  This happened on one of my previous cars...  The exhaust oil seal popped, no chance of runaway, so I drove it a few miles home, billowing smoke...  However, it was only after the event that I realised internal damage had been caused from lack of lubrication as it had burnt off at least a couple of litres of oil in that time.
