RS wheels

Featured Replies

Can any one help me?

I have seven spoke RS wheels on my mk2 xr2, I am wondering if there originally from when the car came of the production line or if there an after thought?

Also wondering if the bumpers and skirting came of the line colour coded?

Regards

Steve

No, pepper pots were the standard wheels and bumper and skirts were black plastic.

Thank you

Is there specialist are that deal in xr2 spares?

Probably. I would suggest you message the XR owners club or similar

The standard wheels were steels with covers, pepperpots were a cost option but most people went for them.

I take it ETIS doesn't go back to 1989?  Not sure how far back it does go.

(Not suggesting internet was common then, but presumably specs & VINs were computerised in the 80s?)
