Hi I have. 57 plat 1.753L dcti focus. From looking at the engine the 4th injecter across is blowing smoke. And there’s like black oil plastic around them on the rocker cover. I don’t no much about the injecters apart from watching tv programs so I’m not sure on wat to think, like if there finished and replace. Can someone help me out as I’ve only had the car a few days and am getting to no it, plus the turbo seems like it’s lagging, I mean it goes than holds bk than goes but I’m not sure wat that could be down to. I’ve done a clutch change today myself and all pipes looked good but I am thinking about getting it mapped but not sure as I feel it shud b a bit quicker putting my foot down but seems like it wants to but than holds bk a bit. Any help will do as I’d like my car to be healthy. Plus removing egr valve ? Good or bad ? Thanks everyone.
